This contract position is based in Easley, SC, within a K-12 school setting, where you will provide vital speech-language services to children.
Qualifications:
Active South Carolina DOE license Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Experience working with K-12 students preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders Commitment to collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech-language intervention Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate students’ communication goals Monitor and document student progress and outcomes Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
