The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Speech-LanguagePathologist (SLP) to play a key role in helping students succeedacademically by providing high-quality speech and languageservices. As a member of the Student Support team, the SLP willprovide individualized, targeted support in whole group, smallgroup, and one-on-one settings, ensuring that each students speech,language, and communication needs are met. The SLP will workclosely with teachers, families, and staff to help students buildthe essential communication skills needed for success in theclassroom and beyond.
Core ResponsibilitiesUtilize evidence-basedpractices to develop and execute comprehensive assessments toidentify students with speech, language, voice, and fluencydisorders.
Provide innovative and rigorous individual therapysessions to address identified disorders in collaboration withteachers and Student Support team members.
Assess student progressconsistently and adjust instruction to meet individual studentneeds.
Collaborate with teachers and academic staff to integratespeech and language goals into the classroomenvironment.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP)meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals andobjectives, as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records ofstudent evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Ensurecompliance with federal, state, and local regulations regardingspeech and language services in schools.
