  • JobSummary:
  • We are looking for a licensed Speech Language Pathologistto treat speech and language disorders and impairments.

The SpeechLanguage Pathologist will serve as a key part of theinterdisciplinary care team.

This is a part-time position with theopportunity to grow to full-time as caseload increases.

  • KeyResponsibilities:
  • Conduct 30 minute sessions with our existingclients. Assist with initial assessments as needed
  • Establishtreatment priorities that include advising, educating, andcounseling
  • Complete required documentation (SOAP notes) to recordassessment and progress
  • Collaborate with physicians, familymembers, and other clinical providers to provide effectivetherapies.
  • May direct support staff in assisting with treatment
  • Stay current on the latest research and treatment techniques in thefield of speech-language pathology
  • Participate in team meetings,case conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of thejob
  • Other duties as directed
  • Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree inSpeech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Statelicensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Requires ASHACertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology(CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrumdisorder (ASD) preferred. Prior experience with co-treatmentspreferred
  • Prior experience with play and language based therapiespreferred
  • Prior experience working with clients between the agesof 2-21 years old preferred
  • Strong communication skills and theability to work effectively with patients, families, andcolleagues
  • Proficiency in utilizing speech-language therapy toolsand technology
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Credentialing with insurance carriers is preferred
