Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time $40 per session 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Nursing Full Job Description Early Interventionist An Early Interventionist (EI) at SRVS Kids and Families is responsible for providing developmental therapy sessions for children birth to 4 years of age. These sessions are provided in the child’s natural environment—typically in the child’s home or daycare. Requirements A degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology, Nursing, Psychology Sociology Experience in 0-4 year olds preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provides individual developmental therapy sessions Develops weekly lesson plans for each child based on the child’s IFSP Works with child’s family and other care providers in following the FGRBI (Family Guided Routine Based Intervention) model of services Completes notes following each session and posts the notes into data system Completes annual re-evaluations and progress reports as needed Completes individual attendance sheet for each child Works directly with parents, caregivers and teachers Communicates with TEIS Service Coordinators and other professionals as needed Attends staff meetings and trainings as required Consults with teachers, in our other programs, as needed Job Status – Full Time A full time EI carries twenty full time equivalent children on their caseload.

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8a-5p (Work hours may vary) Pay-scale A full time EI is paid $40 a session (2 hours at $20/hr) for each session they complete. They are also paid mileage for visits.
