Posting Details Position Information Job Title Staff Speech-Language Pathologist Department Audiology and Speech Language Pathology – 37200 Pay Grade 13 Job Category Administrative Job Summary The East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Center for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is offering a full-time Staff Speech-Language Pathologist position. This position will provide the full range of diagnostic services and treatment in an interprofessional university clinic and will also be responsible for clinical coordination for graduate Speech-Language Pathology students. The College of Health Sciences seeks a clinical Speech-Language Pathologist for a unique full-time opportunity to practice in an interdisciplinary, community-based setting in Elizabethton, TN. Responsible to the Executive Clinic Director at the Nave Center, this is an exciting opportunity to provide speech-language pathology care in an interdisciplinary outpatient environment with the opportunity to increase leadership responsibilities. The candidate will work on-site at the Nave Center, collaborating with other providers, including audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech language pathologists, and behavioral health clinicians. This position is a full-time clinical staff position and will include providing on-site supervision to students. The patient population of the Nave Center consists of pediatric and adult clients representing various diagnoses and conditions. The Nave Center is an interdisciplinary, interprofessional rehabilitation clinic located in Elizabethton, TN, which serves community health care needs and educates ETSU students who are pursuing a variety of careers in the rehabilitative health sciences. The facility is a dynamic, growing clinic, and the expansion of services across rehabilitation disciplines is a top priority. Located within the College of Health Sciences, which includes numerous programs, including Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Behavioral Health, Sports Medicine, and Allied Health Sciences. The College is part of the University’s Academic Health Sciences Division, which also houses the James H. Quillen College of Medicine, the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, the College of Public Health, and the College of Nursing.
