As an SLPA, you will provide speech-languagepathology services to students as directed by a supervising StateBoard of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiologylicensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers theopportunity to work with young learners in a supportive schoolenvironment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Bilingual in Spanish is not required but a plus!
KeyResponsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screeningas directed by the supervising licensed speech-languagepathologist. Implement the treatment program or the individualeducation plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensedspeech-language pathologist. Work with classroom teachers toimplement classroom activities to improve communication skills ofstudents. Create an environment conducive to learning andappropriate for maturity level and interests of students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communicative science anddisorders Texas license as Speech-Language Pathology AssistantStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions
