Duties Assist pathologists in the preparation of tissue specimens for examination. Conduct gross examinations of surgical specimens and accurately document findings. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely processing of specimens. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen handling and analysis. Support early intervention strategies for pediatric patients requiring pathology services. Work with students in educational settings, focusing on individualized education plans (IEP) when necessary. Provide assistance in speech therapy sessions as needed, particularly for children with communication disorders. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential. Experience working with children, particularly in acute care or school settings, is preferred. Familiarity with early intervention techniques and speech therapy practices is advantageous. Previous experience working with students or children is highly desirable.
