This role is essential in supporting pathologists in the examination and diagnosis of tissue samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, as well as experience working with children and understanding their unique needs. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Assist pathologists in the preparation and examination of specimens. Maintain accurate records of specimens and ensure proper labeling. Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive care for patients. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with team members. Support early intervention strategies for children requiring pathology services. Participate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students when necessary.
