Full Job Description Summary :

The Lighthouse Children therapy Center is hiring an SLPA The SLPA develops and deploys the latest technology to provide in-home/center/daycare/school speech therapy services for children with a wide range of communication disorders and conditions.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the certified SLP, support the provision of Speech Therapy services to patients under the appropriate established guidelines. Assist with follow-up sessions as directed by SLP while adhering to the client’s Speech Therapy plan Document patient performance and report the findings in our EMR Assist with providing patient, family, and in-service education to the members of the patient’s care team Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, patients, family members, and facility personnel Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times Must participate in professional continuing education and maintain an active license Qualifications Completion of an accredited Speech and Language Pathology Assistant program approved per ASHA guidelines Bilingual is required Participate in professional continuing education and maintain an active SLPA license Being able to transport to facilities depending on the client’s needs.
