We serve a diverse population of children with speech, language, feeding, and developmental needs in a warm, supportive environment. Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality therapy services to pediatric clients. Duties Provide direct speech and language therapy services to children under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement individualized treatment plans and goals. Assist with documentation and progress tracking. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension. Prepare therapy materials and maintain a clean, organized therapy space. Collaborate with SLPs, families, and other professionals to support children’s development. Educate families about communication disorders and provide strategies for support at home. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Experience Proven experience in acute care settings or pediatrics is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of developmental milestones related to speech and language. Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred. Familiarity with early intervention strategies and IEP development is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
