The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly with pediatric populations, and possess the skills necessary to assess and treat communication disorders. This role involves working closely with children to enhance their speech and language abilities, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. Responsibilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and specific needs alongside and SLP. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the child’s development. Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate families on strategies to support their child’s communication at home. Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications SLP-A Certification Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices. Experience working with children, particularly in a school or pediatric setting. Familiarity with early intervention techniques and acute care environments is preferred. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
