Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

  • Flexible Schedule Project Speech Boynton Beach, FL 33472 SLPA position to provide services in homes and schools near our clinic!

Description This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) to work in the community surrounding our Boynton Beach clinic (homes, schools) and in our clinic providing speech therapy under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule! Project Speech is a pediatric speech therapy practice passionate about causing change in a child’s life. We have been providing speech therapy to children 18 months and older since 2017. Our practice values cultural responsiveness and work/life balance. The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant’s responsibilities would include: Provide therapy in the home and school environment. Document treatment sessions in our online EMR system. Educate and counsel families regarding treatment plans and progress. Provide information regarding the appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support resources to the patient’s family. Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
