This opportunity for a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) focuses on providing essential services to school-aged students from grades K-12.
Qualifications:
Active Florida SLPA license Previous experience in a school setting ASHA certification is a plus, although not mandatory Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to students as directed by supervising Speech Language Pathologists Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teaching staff Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services provided Collaborate with educators to support students’ communication needs Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Ensure compliance with all state and school regulations regarding service delivery
