Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Louisiana for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity involves working closely with students to address communication challenges, enhance their skills, and support their educational success. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team of educators and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in a rewarding school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Implement therapy plans and strategies tailored to individual student needs. Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and session notes. Prepare and organize therapy materials to ensure effective sessions. Engage with teachers and parents to create a cohesive support network for students.
Qualifications:
Active SLPA license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain one. Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field. Previous experience in a school setting or with children is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Passionate about helping students achieve their potential.
