This is a full-time contract role available for onsite and travel opportunities. No classroom experience is required. Job Description As a School-Based SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students with communication needs.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting in the implementation of speech-language therapy plans Supporting students with articulation, language, and fluency goals Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student success Participating in therapy-related activities as guided by the supervising SLP Requirements Louisiana State and Federal To be eligible for this role in New Orleans, LA, applicants must meet the following: Valid Louisiana SLPA license issued by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for SLP & Audiology Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Supervision agreement with a licensed and certified SLP Ability to pass federal and state background checks Familiarity with IEPs and educational therapy settings
