This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and sterile processing to ensure that all supplies are handled and stored correctly. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology, enabling them to effectively support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock is maintained at all times. Conduct regular audits of supplies to identify shortages or expired items, facilitating timely reordering. Utilize aseptic techniques during the handling and processing of sterile supplies to prevent contamination. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand supply needs and prioritize orders accordingly. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, usage, and disposals. Assist in the training of new staff on proper inventory management procedures and sterile processing protocols. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the handling of medical supplies. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within a healthcare setting. Experience in inventory management is preferred to maintain optimal supply levels efficiently. Familiarity with aseptic techniques is crucial for ensuring the safety and sterility of medical supplies. $18.00 – $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
