Atlanta, GA Job Summary The Sterile Processing Technician plays a crucial role in healthcare facilities by ensuring that medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for patient use. Duties Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established procedures Assemble instrument trays and surgical kits accurately Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality Maintain detailed records of sterilization processes Monitor and operate sterilization equipment Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Experience Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Proficiency in sterile processing techniques Familiarity with medical terminology Strong inventory management skills Understanding of aseptic techniques Previous experience in sterile processing is preferred but not required
