In this role, you will be responsible for preparing minimally invasive surgical instrumentation, related equipment and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at CSI, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of minimally invasive only, surgical instruments. Strong interpersonal communication skills are required. You will be working directly with our Surgical Support team who supports minimally invasive cases in the Operating Room. If you are an experienced sterile processing technician who is not yet certified, CSI will pay the cost of your study material, application fee and provide the necessary hours to obtain your certification. Certification must be completed within 6 months from start date. Benefits Complete Medical, Dental and Vision benefits of which Connected Surgical covers 75% of the cost of those insurance plans on behalf of the employee. Employee responsibility is only 25%. Paid Holidays 401k Pay Connected Surgical offers competitive starting salaries based on level of education and experience. Employees are hourly employees who are paid biweekly. We are paying uncertified Sterile Processing Technicians $19 per hour and certified Sterile Processing Technicians (CRCST) $20.44 per hour. Preferred Criteria Prior experience in Sterile Processing Required Criteria High School Diploma of GED Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). Or must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
