$7,500 for Full-Time New Hires We areseeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sterile ProcessingSupervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of ourSterile Processing Department (SPD). This role is ideal for ahands-on leader ready to support staff, enforce best practices, andmaintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily SPD and/ormaterials processing activities
• Monitor workflows and prioritizetasks to meet clinical and scheduling needs
• Lead the developmentand implementation of departmental goals, policies, andsterilization protocols
• Supervise staff across shifts, includingperformance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions
• Ensurecompliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, andregulatory guidelines
• Manage inventory of instruments, equipment,and surgical materials
• Deliver ongoing staff training andin-services for continued education and development
• Partner withclinical teams and vendors to resolve issues and ensure timelymaterial availability
• Stay current on best practices andinnovations through professional education and committeeparticipation

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in sterileprocessing or materials management in a healthcare setting required
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strongunderstanding of infection control, decontamination, andsterilization methods
• Excellent organizational, communication,and problem-solving skills This position plays a vital leadershiprole during off-hours and weekends—ideal for someone who thrives onaccountability, teamwork, and high standards of patient safety.

Candidates must have:

• A high school level of education isrequired. Associates preferred
• A minimum of three years (ideallywould like 5) of related experience as a Sterile ProcessingTechnician is required
• Previous experience as a Leader/Supervisor in Sterile Processing
• Current Sterile Processingcertification is required (CPBSD)
• SPD Manager certification ispreferred, but not required (CHL)
• The ability to interact andcoordinate with employees, vendors, surgeons, and nursing staffCandidates must have:/n/nA high school level of education isrequired.
