JOB SUMMARY

The Central Sterile Supply Tech will work as an integral part of the Surgical Services team to perform and participate in the decontamination, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment in a manner that consistently follows infection control and safety standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent required
Certification as a Central Sterile Processing Tech is preferred or must be attained/maintained after meeting minimum requirements

EXPERIENCE

Previous Central Service experience preferred

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities at once
Ability to work well with others
Excellent customer relations skills
