Responsibilities:

Perform sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies using appropriate methods and techniques. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and completeness before and after sterilization processes. Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to established protocols and guidelines. Monitor sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform routine maintenance as needed. Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff to anticipate instrument needs and ensure timely availability. Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Participate in training and education programs to stay current with sterilization techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:
