Role Summary:
- In addition to responsibilities of
Sterile Processing Technician I:
Responsible for decontamination, operation of steam and other forms of sterilization as well as all monitoring processes included with same. Serve as a subject matter/content expert for a particular process or area and a preceptor for new employees and learners. Use chemicals and appropriate PPE as established protocols and procedures. Maintains adequate inventory for assembly of instruments and equipment. Perform multiple tasks that assist in the daily operation of all units in all locations/sites, as well as being responsible for customer service.
