Sterilization Tech Langworthy Family Dentistry 947 South Judd SE Parkway, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 About us We are a dynamic general dental practice seeking a Full-Time Sterilization Technician to join our team! This is a 4.5-day position with the following schedule: Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch from 1:00 to 2:00 PM), and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We’re also seeking a candidate who is eager to support with dental assistant coverage as needed and is motivated to grow and advance in their assisting career. We are looking to add a personable and energetic Sterilization Tech who is clinically experienced, is motivated, has a positive attitude, and is able to provide high quality treatment and customer service to our patients. Our dental team is a family and we work together to provide the best patient experience. Energy and personality are musts! Xray certification and experience using Open Dental and digital scanners/iTero is a plus, but not required. We offer competitive pay and a retirement plan with a 3% employer match. • Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
• Assist dental providers with chairside duties as needed
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Manage inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes “`Requirements“`
• Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician or Dental Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with CAD software for digital imaging and treatment planning
• Proficiency in dental software systems
• Understanding of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
