KeyResponsibilities:

Reprocess surgical instruments to ensure theymeet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Operatesterilization equipment and ensure proper functioning of allequipment used in instrument reprocessing. Maintain accuraterecords and documentation related to sterilization cycles andinstrumentation. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelineswhen handling and preparing instruments for surgery. Collaboratewith surgical teams to ensure instruments are sterile, functional,and available when needed. Ensure inventory management for surgicalinstruments, including organizing and restocking as necessary.

Follow established protocols to ensure the quality and safety ofreprocessed instruments.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years ofexperience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role withinsterile processing. HSPA Certification (preferred). Ability to workthe scheduled shift of 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday .Experience with sterilization and reprocessing of surgicalinstruments is required. Must be able to work independently, withattention to detail and strong organizational skills. (localcandidates within 50 miles of the facility will not beconsidered).
