Central Supply Sterile Processing Tech:

Float requiredand every other weekend. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New YearsDay.

Requirements:

• CRCST (HSPA)

ONLY, UVMMC

will not accept anyother national certification, and CER required

• preferredcertifications can also include CIS and CHL but would not excludeCRCST and CER
• 5 years of SPD experience
• Facility requires HCPshave a MINIMUM of 2 travel assignments for at least 13 weeks each
• Must have 1 year experience in a level 1 academic medical centerwith 20 or more ORs
• Must have Service Line experience to submit

• Competent inDecontamination, Prep and Pack, Steam sterilization, Lowtemperature sterilization and endoscope
• Recent case pick andsterilization experience

(IMPLANTS), PLASTICS,UROLOGY, ENDO; Flexible scope (high level disinfection experience)

• HCP identifies: Minor basic, major basic, davinci scopes andarms, trauma, ENT, dental, smith and nephew, Stryker, United,wright medical, Synthes klm Martin, ortho align, Medtronics and youname them all.

Further Requirements:

• HCP is familiar with OlympusScopes and Washer.
• HCP is familiar with loaner trays.
• HCP ratesself as experienced with DaVinci Robot Xi.
• HCP is familiar withhand washing delicate items.

Time HCP takes to process:

Minorset:

less than 7 minutes

• Dental set: under 4 minutes

Orthotray:

15 minutes
