Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract at our Denville, NJ facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in an acute care setting , be local to the area, and able to rotate weekends and take overnight call during the week .

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment Maintain accurate inventory and proper documentation of sterilization processes Follow infection control protocols and standards Inspect and test equipment for proper functioning prior to distribution Support the surgical team by ensuring timely availability of sterile instruments Participate in a rotating schedule for weekend coverage and overnight on-call during the week

Requirements:

Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or CRCST)

• Required Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care surgical setting
• Preferred Ability to work full-time, day shift (7:00 AM
• 3:30 PM) Willing and able to rotate weekends and respond to overnight call Must be local or within reasonable commuting distance
