Job Description:

We are seeking askilled Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical servicesby performing all aspects of sterile processing, includingdecontamination, preparation, packaging, and sterilization ofsurgical instruments and patient care equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgicalinstruments and equipment
• Prepare case carts according tosurgical schedule
• Operate sterilizers and ensure properdocumentation of cycles
• Utilize instrument tracking systems(ABACUS/MICROSYSTEMS preferred)
• Maintain cleanliness andorganization of the sterile processing area
• Lift and transportheavy trays and carts as needed
• Communicate effectively and workwell in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
