07/07/25 Responsibilities Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols. Inspect instruments for cleanliness and proper functioning before use. Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and equipment. Assist in the organization and management of sterile processing areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures. Follow aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during handling and storage of sterile items. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in sterile processing. Skills Proficient in sterile processing techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to surgical procedures. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Effective inventory management skills to track supplies accurately. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
