(AHA) Summary As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures by managing the sterilization and preparation of medical instruments. Reporting to the Surgical Services Manager, you will utilize your core skills in sterile processing, aseptic technique, and medical terminology to maintain high standards of hygiene and compliance. Your premium skills in inventory management will aid in tracking and organizing equipment. Holding a CRCST and BLS Certification, you will contribute significantly to patient care and the overall success of our healthcare team. Responsibilities Ensure the proper sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively identify and handle instruments. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during processing. Manage inventory of sterile supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and compliance with safety standards. Maintain certifications such as CRCST and BLS to uphold professional standards in sterile processing.
