As a Tech 1, Sterilization, you will be part of the Quality Management System supporting the decontamination of medical devices. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

$22.52 per hour What’s the Job? Conduct decontamination of medical devices and accessories returned for servicing in accordance with established procedures. Unpack returned devices, log them into the Service Management System (SMS), and perform required external wipe down of equipment and accessories. Confirm the correct equipment was received and logged into the system, tagging and labeling returned devices appropriately. Handle potentially contaminated equipment and chemicals required for decontamination while maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Disassemble devices and/or accessories per written instructions and complete relevant sections of the work order in the SMS. What’s Needed? High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience working in a hospital environment preferred. Experience with hazardous materials/chemicals preferred. Mechanical aptitude background preferred.
