What You’ll Be Doing:

Expert Sterilization:

You’ll be the expert in disassembling, thoroughly cleaning, and disinfecting medical instruments using both manual and mechanical methods. You’ll operate and monitor sterilization equipment, ensuring it’s always functioning perfectly.

Quality Control & Precision:

Every item passes through your meticulous inspection – you’ll check for any damage before packaging and sterilizing equipment for future use.

Systematic Organization:

From precise packaging and sterile storage to careful distribution and tracking of instruments, you’ll ensure everything is in its right place and accounted for.

Compliance & Documentation:

Your accurate record-keeping of reprocessing steps, maintenance, and supplies is crucial for safety and regulatory compliance. OR Support – Our “OR Aid”

Role:

You’ll extend your impact directly to the operating room, providing vital support:

Patient Handling:

Safely transferring and positioning patients, always under RN supervision.

Room Efficiency:

Playing a key role in efficient room turnover and cleaning between cases.

Supply Readiness:

Preparing and delivering all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, and medical carts, including opening sterile supplies and setting up rooms.

Inventory & Restocking:

Maintaining organized sterile supply areas, restocking OR supplies, anesthesia carts, and fluid warmers daily, and pulling supplies for upcoming cases. We’re Looking for

Someone With:

Proven experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or a similar role. An unwavering attention to detail and a truly meticulous approach to your work. A strong commitment to patient safety . Excellent judgment and critical-thinking abilities . The manual dexterity required to handle delicate equipment. Solid technical skills and familiarity with various sterilization techniques. The ability to thrive in a team environment while also working independently. Relevant Sterile Processing Technician training and/or certifications . Physical capability to perform duties including standing, walking, stooping, crouching, twisting, kneeling, squatting, sitting, and consistently supporting, pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 25 pounds . Required CRCST Certification within one year of hiring date
