OR Assistant 1 – Cath Lab Tampa General Hospital – 3.9 Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time $31,200 a year 1 day ago Qualifications BLS Certification Employment & labor law High school diploma or GED Entry level Full Job Description OR Assistant 1 – Cath Lab – ( 250002GK ) Description The OR Assistant is responsible for transporting of patients, specimens/blood, instruments/equipment/supplies as needed to assigned locations. Responsible for restocking surgical suites and support areas and disinfection of operating rooms and equipment as needed. Identifies and reports situations that require intervention to the Operations Supervisor. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is primarily performed in patient settings. Extensive interaction with patients, staff, physicians, family members and visitors. Lifting, bending, stooping and exposure to blood borne pathogens. Level I This position has been evaluated as a in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) definition of occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. Qualifications H.S. diploma or G.E.D. Basic Life Support (BLS)
