Our team is passionate, professional, and committed to excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled and bilingual Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. The Oral Surgery Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the oral surgeon during procedures and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in oral surgery or dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both English and Spanish to better serve our diverse patient base. Duties Assist oral surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Take and process X-rays and 3D imaging Educate and communicate post-operative care instructions to patients in both English and Spanish. Monitor patients during and after procedures Maintain accurate patient records and charts Ensure a clean, safe, and organized surgical environment Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families Skills Minimum 2 years of experience as an oral surgery or dental assistant Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written) Certification in Dental Radiology (required by state) CPR/BLS certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced surgical environment Professional demeanor and a patient-first attitude This position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
