OR Circulator Osceola Heart and Ambulatory Surgical Center, LLC Kissimmee, FL 34741 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OR Circulator to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures by coordinating patient care and managing the operating room environment. This position requires a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functional. Assist the surgical team by providing support during operations, including managing instruments and supplies. Monitor patient vital signs and provide immediate assistance as needed during surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery. Maintain sterile conditions in the operating room throughout procedures. Document all relevant information accurately in patient records. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding pre-operative and post-operative care instructions. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Strong background in patient care, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities or children. Knowledge of anatomy and experience in critical care transport is preferred. Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment, medication administration, laboratory procedures, cardiac catheterization, and vital sign monitoring is highly desirable. Previous experience working in an operating room setting or similar healthcare environment is advantageous.
