The role you’ll contribute: The Surgical Assistant II (SAII) works under supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities for surgical patients of all age groups.

This includes all duties of the SA I. The SA II is an advanced ancillary role in which the employee has completed additional training and maintains competency in additional role specific related duties.

The Surgical Assistant II applies knowledge of aseptic technique and basic supplies and equipment utilized for surgical procedures.

Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
