Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operating Room Orderly performs housekeeping duties, assisting with the movement of patients, transporting, receiving, and distribution of linens and scrubs, and moving of medical equipment to ensure a safe, organized and clean environment for staff and patients. Assists RN and ORT/scrub in room turnovers before, after, and end of day operative procedures. Works in conjunction with RN as to equipment needed for next case. Takes call as needed.
Works in conjunction with Sterile Processing Department to ensure instrument trays are available prior to any surgical case. 2504000132
