06/22/2025 Surgical Technologist – CVOR First Assist If you are an experienced surgical technologist passionate about cardiovascular procedures, consider joining us as a Surgical Technologist – CVOR First Assist. In this role, you will support surgeons during complex cardiovascular operations by ensuring precision and maintaining sterile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Sterilize instruments and prepare operating rooms specifically for cardiovascular procedures.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, suturing incisions, or holding retractors as needed.
Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure to prevent infections.
Monitor equipment functionality during surgeries and report any issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately on the operating table and applying sterile drapes specific to cardiovascular procedures.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily based in hospital cardiovascular operating rooms (CVORs) or specialized surgical centers equipped for advanced heart surgeries.
The position requires focus and stamina in a high-pressure environment where precision is critical for patient outcomes.
