- Assist the surgical team during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Prepare the treatment room and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Set up and maintain aseptic techniques throughout the procedure.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist or oral surgeon.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with medical coding and billing procedures.
- Utilize various dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic for patient management and documentation.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed. “`Qualifications“`
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
- Current certification as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures.

- Familiarity with medical coding systems and billing procedures.
- Experience with aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
