About the
Job:
The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is currently lookingfor a highly skilled Surgical Technician to join their team. As asurgical technician at the surgery center, you would be responsiblefor preparing operating rooms and equipment before, during, andafter procedures. You would also assist surgeons with various tasksin the operating room such as passing instruments, holdingretractors, and suctioning. Additionally, you would be responsiblefor sterilizing equipment and instruments, preparing supplies, andtransporting patients to the operating room.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment before, during, and afterprocedures
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holdingretractors, and suctioning
- Sterilize equipment and instruments,prepare supplies, and transport patients to the operating room asneeded.
- Monitor vital signs of patient under surgery as directedby medical staff
Who You Are:
- High School diploma required.
Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program oreducation/training in the military.
- Minimum of 2 years ofexperience in a Hospital Operating Room or ASC preferred
- SurgicalTechnician certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshirerequired unless other current NH state license is held.
