Surgical Tech:
Responsibilities Functions asprimary scrub technologist for a variety of routine and complexprocedures, while consistently demonstrating clinical skills withconfidence and competence. Individual is responsible for ensuring,along with other surgical team members, that they maintain thesterile field, applying aseptic technique principles to ensure asafe, aseptic, and cost effective environment to all patients thatclearly spells quality and excellence.
Qualifications JobRequirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Graduate of anaccredited Surgical Technology program and hold currentcertification with one of the following: The National Board ofSurgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, the National Center forCompetency Testing or another surgical technologist certificationprogram approved by the Texas Department of State Health Service.
BLS Certification Preferred Job Requirements:
