Travel Job DescriptionAs an operating room tech (ORT), you’ll help with surgicaloperations before, during and/or after the procedure. Working inthe operating room of a hospital or outpatient surgery center, youmay have duties that include prepping the OR, surgical tools, andequipment, helping nurses and surgeons scrub in, keeping up withequipment during surgery, maintaining sterile conditions, assistingwith tools during surgery, cleaning the OR after surgery, andtransporting patients to and from surgery. You’ll play a criticalrole in preventing illness, providing moral support, promotinghealth and wellness, and educating patients and families.
