Shift:

- + Will coordinate the services and program, participate in growth by improving efficiencies, standards, and performance of the service line.
+ This position is responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the service line. + The service line coordinator acts as a clinical liaison and assists with overseeing the technical and clinical aspects of the specified service line. + The service line coordinator will participate in training and mentoring of new staff members, enhancing staff skills and knowledgebase. + Assists in identifying staff education needs based on clinical situations and recommends appropriate in-service. + The service line coordinator will work with surgeons, nurses, first assistants and scrub techs to streamline and standardize the service line to improve efficiency and quality of care. + The service line coordinator will be required to maintain surgical tech skills and assist with surgical procedures on a routine basis, assist with troubleshooting, movement, setup and breakdown. + Ensure supplies to support the program are available and in good working order. Assist with maintaining inventory/par levels and assist in keeping preference cards up-to-date. + Possess the ability to communicate effectively, be self-directed and comfortable with managing multiple responsibilities of the program, including clinical, administrative, educational, and promotional components. + Ability to complete other duties as necessary to support the operating room, including, but not limited to, scrubbing and other support for other service lines as needed. + On-call may be required; variable per operating unit and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications:
- + Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program OR equivalent experience. + Must be able to function as a clinical expert in the specified service line. + 2 years’ surgical tech experience. 1-2 years¿ experience within specific service line preferred.
