SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO
$5000 Piedmont Henry MainOperating Room Surgical Technologist Full time Days
RESPONSIBLEFOR
Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician duringsurgery in the Operating Room (OR) for multiple specialties,performing technical and some patient care duties under thedirection of a Registered Nurse. Functions as a clinical specialistacross numerous service specialty lines. Assumes additionalresponsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties as necessaryand serves as a resource. Functions on a more global level and ismore involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgerydepartment.
Qualifications:
SIMINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
HighSchool Diploma or GED. Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program orLPN program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Surgical TechCertification and 3 years of experience required. In lieu ofSurgical Tech certification, 7 years of experience can besubstituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 yearsSurgical Tech experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREDBY LAW
Current GA LPN License if applicable.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS
Certification as a Surgical Technologist Requiredor Licensed as an LPN required. BLS certification required.
