Surgical Tech – CVOR We are seeking a skilled SurgicalTechnologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)procedures. In this role, you will assist surgeons during complexcardiovascular surgeries by preparing the operating room, managinginstruments, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensuresuccessful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operatingroom by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment aresterilized and ready for use during cardiovascular procedures.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, holdingretractors, or handling specimens for lab analysis. Maintain asterile field throughout the surgery by adhering to strictinfection control protocols. Monitor inventory levels of surgicalsupplies and ensure timely restocking as needed for upcomingprocedures. Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needsduring procedures and respond effectively to any emergencies orcomplications that arise. Assist with patient positioning, draping,and preparation before surgery begins. Document proceduresaccurately and ensure proper handling of surgical instrumentspost-operation for cleaning and sterilization.
Work Environment:
Work in hospitals or specialized cardiovascular operating roomsequipped with advanced surgical technology. Collaborate closelywith surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical teammembers in high-pressure environments where precision is critical.
