Travel Job Description As an operating room tech (ORT), you’llhelp with surgical operations before, during and/or after theprocedure. Working in the operating room of a hospital oroutpatient surgery center, you may have duties that includeprepping the OR, surgical tools, and equipment, helping nurses andsurgeons scrub in, keeping up with equipment during surgery,maintaining sterile conditions, assisting with tools duringsurgery, cleaning the OR after surgery, and transporting patientsto and from surgery. You’ll play a critical role in preventingillness, providing moral support, promoting health and wellness,and educating patients and families. Minimum Requirements

• Minimum1 years of recent acute Surg Tech experience
• Nationally Certifiedin Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• TraumaExperience preferred, not required
