Description:
The Certified ScrubTechnician is responsible for the safe and sterile setup andhandling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled andemergency surgical cases. This includes gathering of all necessaryinstrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons’ pick sheets. Theemployee must be conscientious regarding procedures and capable ofaccepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments, and otherduties relative to the department. They must maintain a high degreeof confidentiality. The position supports the mission, vision, andvalues of the organization. The ability to communicate effectivelywith department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff, andsales and repair representatives is essential.
