The Certified Scrub Technician is responsible for the safe,sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation duringscheduled and emergency surgical cases. This includes gathering ofall necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons picksheets. The employee must be conscientious with regards toprocedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clericalassignments and other duties relative to the department. They mustmaintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission,vision, and values of the organization.
Graduate of an accreditedSurgical Tech program and possesses a current ORT certCurrent ORexperience is essentialBCLS requiredAbility to communicateeffectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medicalstaff and sales and repair reps
