Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking aFull-Time Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Ten MileSurgery Center in Meridian, Idaho.
The Ten Mile Surgery Center is amulti-specialty outpatient surgery center offering services inorthopedics, ENT, general, gynecology and more. Alongside thevariety in cases, this site features an amazing schedule with afour-day work week, and no required call, nights orholidays.
Schedule and Benefits:
Position is scheduled for 40 hours a week Monday throughThursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm. Call, nights and weekends are notrequired! Day 1 Benefits – colleagues are eligible for our plans fromtheir very first day of work. Additional hiring incentives may be available, includingsign-on bonus and relocation assistance if eligible.
MinimumQualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Current CST certification from the NBSTSA or NCCTrequired. At least one (1) year experience in a health care or militarymedical settings required.
What You Will Do:
Provide intra-operative patient care to patients as directed bythe Director of Nursing / Medical Director / QualityCommittee(s). Anticipate surgeon’s needs in the use of medical supplies,instrumentation & equipment availability & readiness. Prepare case carts for surgical procedures and maintain asterile operating room suite during procedures. Assist and/ or ensure documentation & detailed records arekept. May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / ormentor.
