About ECU Health North Hospital ECU Health North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bedacute bed facility serving Halifax, Northampton and Warren countiesin the north-central region of North Carolina. Its service areaalso reaches into southern Virginia. With more than 600 teammembers, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgicalservices. It features a 24-hour emergency department and offersadvanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care. Position Summary Maintains the integrity, safety and efficiency of the sterile fieldthroughout surgical procedures. Prepares and arranges instrumentsand supplies. Assists the surgeon and assistants throughout theoperation by providing sterile instruments and supplies.

Participates in Service Excellence Program. Minimum Requirements American Heart Association BLS Enrolled in an Accredited School of Surgical Technology. Will graduate with a Surgical Technology Program within six monthsfrom hire date.
