MedPro Healthcare Staffing , a Joint Commission-certifiedstaffing agency, is seeking a quality CVOR Technician-Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician for a contract with one ofour top healthcare clients. Requirements Graduate of an accreditedSchool of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience workingas a surgical technician in an acute care setting. Current CPRprovider card. Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVORrecent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to thesurgical care of the open-heart patient population. Knowledge ofCVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgicalprocedures and other procedures as needed. CABG and cardiacprocedures. Pickssupplies for surgeries, sets up instruments and scrubs for surgicalprocedure, and performs instrument and sponge count accurately.

Obtain specimens, hand over to circulating nurse and verifieslocation. Facilitates room turnover time. Participates indepartment on-call schedule.
